The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky’s Health Heroes Campaign is seeking to highlight innovative policy efforts in Kentucky businesses of all sizes that help to close the gaps across communities to support increased physical activity and healthy food choices. Kentuckians are among the most overweight and obese Americans – with all that that means for diminished quality of life, increased health risks, shortened working lives, and increased health care costs in the Commonwealth.

The Foundation will recognize the winning business during our September Forum and award them with a $1,000 prize.  Please click here for more details.  We encourage you to distribute this application among other businesses that are implementing innovative policy efforts in physical activity and healthy food choices. 

The deadline for businesses to apply has been extended until June 25th.Applications are now due by fax (502-326-5748) or e-mail to kellis@healthy-ky.org no later than June 25, 2010.
