Listening to the Communities We Serve - Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky

KHFI RFP Released - Due July 22, 2011

The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Kentucky Healthy Futures Initiative (KHFI) grants. Over the course of the Initiative, the Foundation seeks to make grants in up to ten low-income and rural communities in Kentucky to improve access to health services, reduce health risks and disparities, and promote health equity. This is an opportunity to replicate or scale innovative strategies with evidence of impact to make a significant difference in the health of your community.   Grants will vary in size.  We anticipate awarding up to $400,000 in grants for three to four proposals in this cycle.   Non-profit organizations with a strong track record of project stewardship, community collaboration and health improvement planning are encouraged to apply.  Review the FAQ's  about the KHFI RFP here.  Join the Foundation for an optional KHFI RFP review on June 9 at 10:00 am EDT.  Register for this review below.  Watch this site for registration information for the June 27 & 28 required training for applicants.  Information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.  Please direct questions to Valerie Salley, JD
