About Mary Jo Shircliffe
Mary Jo has been with the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky since immediately following its inception in 2001. In her role as Vice President for Operations & Administration, Mary Jo is responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations, grants administration and contracts management and is the project developer and manager for (c)space, a co-working initiative operated by the Foundation. She is responsible for the facilities, management of budgets, accounting, policies and procedures, governance and serves as lead staff to the Foundation’s Finance and Audit Committee and Nominations and Governance Committee. In addition to her work in operations, she serves as lead staff to the Foundation’s Community Advisory Council and has served as a program officer to a number of Foundation initiatives including the Community Grants program, Integrating Mental Health and Medical Services Initiative and the annual Howard L. Bost Memorial Policy Forum. Prior to the Foundation, Mary Jo was an Information Analyst for a Louisville-based computer software development company. Prior to that she contracted with several nonprofits and worked as a program and services director for the Kentucky Psychological Association. Mary Jo has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a MBA from Bellarmine University in Louisville.
