(LOUISVILLE, Ky, July 30, 2019) Organizations and individuals working to improve health are invited to attend a Regional Community Health Forum in Owensboro on Aug. 14. Hosted by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky in partnership with the Green River Area Development District (GRADD) and Green River District Health Department. The 90-minute afternoon forum will include information on efforts to address teen vaping and the latest developments regarding the Kentucky HEALTH Medicaid waiver program. Representatives from the area's seven local health coalitions will share updates on their activities and future areas of focus.

The forum is open to health organizations, health care providers, public health professionals, elected officials, business and education leaders and other community members interested in addressing health issues in their communities. The forum begins at 2 p.m. (CDT) at the Green River Area Development District offices, 300 Gradd Way, Owensboro, 42301.
