(LOUISVILLE, Ky - September 17, 2019) Nonprofits and charities that need to get their messages out to potential donors, volunteers and other supporters often rely on media. A free, one-hour webinar offered by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky this Wednesday afternoon will help participants understand key social media strategies, learn how to approach interviews and presentations and discover action steps they can use to hone their communications efforts.

John Blim, vice president of donor relations for the WHAS Crusade for Children and host and co-producer of the weekly television/radio program Moral Side of the News, will lead the webinar. Blim has been with the Crusade for more than 17 years. Prior to that, he was creative services director for WHAS television.
The webinar is part of the Foundation's Health for a Change training series that helps nonprofit organizations in the Commonwealth strengthen their ability to do their work by offering free webinars and in-person workshops on a variety of topics.
